This review is a tale of two halves, because over 25 years, myself and my family have received exemplary service from the GP's here and at the surgery's previous location; which is the only reason for my not registering with an alternative surgery. Sadly, the same cannot be said for any other services offered here. For several years, ongoing errors regarding prescriptions continue, regardless of multiple assurances of rectification. The latest incident occurred recently, straight after a promise to put things right and to resolve the issues once and for all. Yet to my disappointment, the mistakes on my most recent prescription were the worst yet (i.e. only 1 out of 4 items needed were actually prescribed and the next medication review arranged for a date in the past - 7 months ago!) It seems that the needless stress and frustration caused by the situation looks set to continue. I just cannot understand why. The professionalism, curtesy and dignity afforded to me during every one of my visits has been exemplary from the reception desk right through to the nurses and attendant Doctors. My experience has been nothing less than 100%. I am grateful and thankful that I am registered with a practice like this. Despite all GP and NHS services being stretched you would hardly realise the pressure on the front line professionals at this practice. Nothing is too much trouble and a personal and friendly approach is consistent with the level of care delivered on every occasion.
As a Tax payer I consider this practice worth its weight in gold. | ||||||
