An arrogant and unhelpful practice with poor attention to detail and exceptionally poor communications. They have grown worse over recent years. They do not always follow NICE guidelines. Most of the GPs and nurses are ok or even good, but the pharmacy and admin staff can be unhelpful and it is unreasonably hard to do simple things such as book an appointment, find out about test results or get a repeat prescription. I hope the new web site will enable more to be done without interacting on the phone, which is often a tedious and unpleasant experience. |

Over a span of 30 odd years I have never not had an appointment on the day of requesting one. So you have to sometimes wait 20 minutes to speak to reception but they can’t possibly answer multiple calls at the same time. If it takes this time to secure a same day appointment that’s surely acceptable. I know so many people around the country who have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment so we are extremely fortunate. I have never experienced a problem with any of the staff. My medication is always available when it should be. The doctors and nurses have from my experience been considerate, caring and professional. I reiterate the fact that we are extremely fortunate to have such an amazing resource on our doorsteps. |
