Estover Surgery

My wife's treatment has been poor for years and the doctors that have taken over have not improved the care. The nursing assistant s were good for review of bloods. Apart from that actual care and reviews of medication directly with my wife as the patient is non existent.

My daughter was a patient at Estover Health Centre, she had suffered for many years with Fibromyalgia,it affected her whole life, she was unable to leave her home due to panic attacks During the recent lock down she was feeling really ill, her husband asked for a doctor to visit her, he was told that due to COVID no home visits were taking place He phoned several times with no help being offered, When she could not stand the pain any more a nurse went to her home all would do was to take blood,she did not examine and said it not her place to Eventually another nurse went and as soon as she saw my daughter she phoned 999 My daughter died 2 days later,she was told that she had Diabetes and it was to late to operate,she was not aware of this until the hospital doctor told her and said she would lose her legs, to little to late I would really like someone to listen,she must not have died in this manner Thank you Mary Shaw maryshaw63@btinternet.com

Do the e consult and never hear back. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment-over the phone they do not call you. When you call and ask why its because the doctor is not in that day, and you have to start all over again, why did they book the appointment then? Just cant understand what is going on in this place now.
