Thank you for your quick response to my request for information. Also Dr. Syed's phone call to me last Tuesday helped resolve a few worrying issues with my recent health. |

My little boy needed to be seen today and I was offered a call ack, which I got but also an appointment. The doctor was wonderful with my son, even looked through the book he'd taken in with him, this made the consultation so much easier as my little boy was co operative. A big thank you to the doctor and the respceptiin staff for help and advice in the first place. |

Today I experienced first hand what the reception staff have to put up with dealing with angry and frustrated patients. In comparison to the surgery my wife uses, Northwood still seems to be more attentive, progressive and helpful towards patients, without the use of current waiting room technology (to speed up the process of checking in). We all have protocols and procedures to work woth, which some patients fail to understand. Asked in any survey, Northwood would come out on top. I would like to single out a Practice Nurse who always seems very calm and deals with patients as people. The reception staff should also get a mention, even though I don't know them all by name. And finally a member of staff who has a unique approach in dealing with everything. My only draw back is I have to travel to the surgery. But on seeing how other surgeries work, glad I,m with Northwood. |
