I attended this practice for the first time last week for a dermatology appointment. The doctor was lovely, listened to my concerns and I feel treated me appropriately. Everything was explained and all questions were answered.
Unfortuntatley, I since had a reaction to some medication I was prescribed so phoned back Monday evening. The receptionist was very helpful and ensured a doctor phoned me back the following morning to advise me further. Very impressed! Thank you! I have visited this surgery twice now with my 13 year old son, once to see a dermatology nurse and once for him to have bloods taken , on every occasion we have been made to feel welcome, the staff on reception were very friendly and helpful and the staff who saw my son were also the same, Thank you for putting my son at ease on every visit. |

This GP practice is ridiculous. Having been in pain and suffering for what I would say is nearly 4 years, I have now been diagnosed correctly. This diagnosis could have been established with baseline bloods which I have had done recently and on the off chance have had a test which was not routinely done before which would have been the resolution to all my problems.
The doctor previously didn’t care about my day to day struggles and advised me the best he could do was advise me to do Yoga. This isn’t utterly UNACCEPTABLE. When yoga would not have resolved a chronic disease in any way.
The GP I now spoke to was full of a disgusting attitude and superiority complex when I am professionally trained in the healthcare field and protested my right for a referral. I do not know why they cannot refer when the service is available and would have helped me long term. I can see how a normal patient without this knowledge would trust this doctor and be in long term pain. Unacceptable behaviour and professionalism. I will be changing my GP surgery and hope people think twice before they register here. This doctor also did not know why the other doctor had requested this kind of blood test!!! I mean the training of nearly 10 years at medical school and beyond must not have helped.
I am thankful I was seen by the new doctor and have finally had a diagnosis and a step in the right direction to living a pain free lifestyle.
May offer same day telephone triages but they are useless when the GP is rude, unaware of why a certain blood tests are requested, and completely unprofessional. This surgery needs a visit from CCG as it needs to be placed in special measures and needs improvements of the doctors available. |
