my mum had a very nasty fall last October and after a very long 11 months she was finally discharged today----throughout all of her treatment she has received excellent care from the practice nurse... mum has always been treated with respect and dignity and included in any decisions regarding her treatment plan....I have been a patient at this practice since I was born (54 years) ago and my parents have been with the practice since it opened- we have always had excellent care. The practice nurse here and the practice nurse at the Yewtree surgery are an asset to this surgery and the NHS......thank you so much for everything...... |

I have been with this doctors for many years, and i don't often need the doctors. However due to a run of ill health, I've had to use them more lately. Whenever you ring, you'll be lucky to get an appt with the doctor within 3 weeks. Slater street surgery don't have a doctor and rely on locums. I had an appt for 910 this morning. I arrived 10 minutes early, to be greeted by a sign telling me to use the sign in computer, only to find it wasn't working. I waited patiently until 930. There were 5 people in the waiting room buy that time, nobody had been called in over 30 minutes. When i asked the receptionist why There was such a delay. She checked with the practice manager todiscover that the locum hadn't even turned up. Nobody was bothered and were obviously used to getting complaints. I was offered an appt at a different surgery for later today. This is not the first time this had happened to me. I will be making a formal complaint and changing doctors |

I have had a persistent cough for 10 months and pharmacy bought medicines are not helping. I have rang so many times to get an appointment so see if it's anything serious and cannot get to book to see anyone. Reception tell me to call at 8am but I'm at work and can only call in my break times. When I got through today at 10.30am after waiting 10 mins to be answered I got told again I can't book and to see a pharmacy. I had given up trying but I get nagged by my husband and work manager to get myself checked out. I'm trying but getting nowhere. |
