I Just gave 5 star for flu jab rollout! However having read a few old reviews, I do agree there are inconsistencies which may tarnishes the image of this surgery. For example in a ‘bad day’ you could not pass the Receptionist to arrange a doctor/nurse appointment! To my experience all nurses were excellent in particular both Alisons being helpful, proactive and professional. However sometimes if you need urgent medical help or referrals or ordering repeat prescriptions etc you could get frustrated and could be a very long wait. There is not much coop-ration between on-site pharmacy and the surgery! (I can’t see any logical reason why repeat prescriptions not done automatically, particularly during the Covid!) If a vulnerable patients forget/unable to order repeat prescriptions on time, they could easily get disappointed also often a long waiting at pharmacy, perceived to be slow). I understand the surgery are doing their best to improve their image from ‘good’ to ‘excellent’ and I wish them best of luck! |

Received my call for the COVID-19 vaccination at least a month earlier than expected & received it 17/02/21. The system in operation was very well organised, fast flowing and all staff & volunteers were extremely courteous & helpful. My other visits have been equally simple to arrange, dealt with promptly and the service second to none. Highly recommended a a big well done & thank you from me! |

Had covid vaccination 2 days ago. Friendly professional staff and volunteers. Very quick, was only in the surgery for 5 minutes. Extremely well organised and felt very safe throughout. There are not enough superlatives to describe how brilliant Wilmslow Health Centre is. Thank you all. We are all grateful for all the hard work that you have done throughout this dreadful pandemic. |
