My mother has unfortunately been diagnosed with metastatic tumour. Both my mother and myself had to attend the health centre to find this information as the receptionist said there was no follow-up. However when we read the letter from the hospital we saw that there will be a follow-up in 3 weeks time. Firstly my mum had a fall at home last October and was taken to Accident and Emergency by my sister but nothing was seen then a further xray confirmed? Pulmonary fibrosis then nothing happened no follow-up at all. Next was a Gastroscopy told she had a tumour but since then nothing from the doctor to even speak to mum about this. Please can you give me some explanation as l think my mother has been treated appallingly. As a previous nurse of 38 years l find it unacceptable. The communication has been terrible. I await your response. |
