Having just registered with the practice I had my first appointment for a annual review.i found the the staff helpful and pleasant. The only problem for me was the stairs so I'm hoping my first Doctors appointment which I booked online, his room will be on the ground level . Parking is not the best . |

I’m at my wits end total despair. I’m running out of options here in Chorley, could literally write a book.. Anyway point being I lasted all of two minutes at this surgery. Strange telephone system where if your in position 3 for example all of a sudden you jump to position 4 for around thirty minutes then get to position 1 and get cut off,, if you’ve got anxiety it will do you no favours. I could of tolerated this had the care been adequate as perfect is not possible anywhere. This was not the case. Not only am I to take medicine they don’t know if I should be taking as haven’t had the necessary tests first which they ‘can’t’ do because of covid19. I was then told that when EVERYONE is vaccinated that my necessary tests can take place and that it’s hard to understand why I’ve been given this medicine without being examined but to carry on taking it until EVERYONE is vaccinated. It was then that I stated politely that I will not be taking part in the world beating vaccination programme. After encouragement for me to reconsider and being reminded that it’s “Safe” pfffft,, I repeatedly stated that there would be no chance of my mind being changed. I was reminded that people have been dying and was told that “if I survive. ” Being fully aware of the above I wanted my wishes accepted then I was reminded that I cannot go on holiday without a vaccine!!! If airlines pursue that then that’s ok but if I want to see the world I must run along and submit to inoculation that goes against my beliefs NOT NOW NOT EVER! It was not this that finished me as this was just said to inform me, I could of coped but being told that in summer when everyone is vaccinated that if I don’t get one then there is no guarantee of the tests that I actually do need,, (which is not disputed) and that a risk assessment would need to be done to see if I can attend the surgery.?? Sorry we are not all as gullible, desperate and conditioned that we will nod and submit to the narrative. If it was a 99 percent death rate I’d likely give in due to the high possibility of extinction but for now I am backed heavily by the knowledge that there is more chance or just as much chance of me getting run over by an ambulance on the dual carriage way or falling down my stairs as a result of the medication that I am on than there is of me not “surviving” COVID-19 so my risks have been assessed and I am using simple math and common sense. No jab equals possiblly no vital healthcare. There it is folks it makes me question more than I did already.. I’d rather have no healthcare provided than have something put into my body that I do not want there for very valid reasons! I will not be bought with incentives like holidays or healthcare I value my health thanks... |

We have been trying to book an appointment for the last two days by internet and telephone but have found this impossible...we ring at 8am and wait about 40 minutes in a queue to be told that there are no appointments. the computer constantly shows no appointments and the receptionists politely tell us that this is the system. It is clearly not being operated in the best interests of the patients. |
