I received a text message this afternoon from my tearful daughter. Yes she is old enough to complain but she’s an anxious person at the best of times. Today she received a text message to phone the neuro department, I’m guessing at the hospital, to get an appointment. They told her she wasn’t under neuro. She phoned the GP surgery back as they were the ones to send her the message. She was told she has been referred for intracranial drainage, my daughter was completely shocked and asked if they were sure and the lady said yes. She then said she would take a look and check them phone her back. By this time my daughter had googled what it was and was so upset she was crying on the phone when the surgery called her back. They then told her they had got her number and another number mixed up. This is outrageous. I would have been scared to death if I had received that news. I think your reception staff, or whoever it was, has extra training. She still feels shaky now. As her mum I am appalled as I know what a stress head she is. That news would have been terrifying to anybody. I hope you reply to this email. This happened today 19/10/23 at about 14:15, this is when she messaged me. Thankyou E.Myers | ||||||

Well I have been very satisfied with the way the Dr I saw about my care.Very organized and great communication to do with my care .With all the difficulties the care sector has had to deal with,I am very grateful for the treatment I have received .Thankyou | ||||||
