10 years of my medical records are missing and the secretary is refusing to call me back, despite my repeated requests as, according to her, they’re all there, I just haven’t been to the doctors in 10 years and magically got myself prescribed repeat medication without any consultation or diagnosis. It’s been a year. I have medications that I was prescribed at the hospital and am unable to get because my records are missing. But they genuinely do not care at all. I already didn’t want to join this surgery when I lived back to skem because I got prescribed dangerous medication due to not being asked any family history when I was just 17 years old, but this is the ONLY doctors who will accept me because I’m too far away… despite being a three minute drive away. I’m currently looking into legal action concerning medical negligence and data breaches. Astounding that it’s come to this. |

It's absolutely impossible to book an appointment in advance. You have to ring up at 8am on the day to have any chance of being seen.
I have several complex conditions that need medical attention on a regular basis but the fact you can't even book an appointment in advance means that I can't fit MY OWN HEALTH in around the rest of my life.
Birleywood is an absolute disgrace but I'm stuck with them seeing as I was turned away from Hall Green for being 0.1 miles away from the cachement area.
Thanks to a misdiagnosis from a previous GP surgery that almost cost me my life, i was beginning to lose faith in the NHS and Birleywood have only cemented this for me. Disgusting that you can't even book an appointment.
Don't go here unless you're desperate. |
