Me and my partner have been registered a couple of weeks now. And so far had no issues, they fit us in when we needed new prescriptions, with follow up care also being booked. I like that you can click yourself in fro appointments, rather than waiting for the receptionist. We can order our prescriptions online and book appointments, we both work within the NHS doing shifts, so it is easier being able to see all available appointments in one place. So, so far so good. Happy with our experiences so far. Car parking is a pain but that can not be helped. |

The appointment booking system at this surgery is horrific. Yes you ca pre book on the online system but generally only weeks in advance. Personally I never know when I'm going to be I'll so my alternative is calling at 8am and trying to speak to someone.called 113 times today before finally getting through. This needs improvement. Reply from RADCLIFFE MEDICAL PRACTICE Mon, 05 Aug 2019 11:39:45 +0100 Thank you for finding time to put a comment on NHS Choices. I am sorry you are having difficulty getting through on the telephone. Currently we have 4 receptionists answering the telephone this morning along with one receptionist on the desk. Regarding pre booked appointments. These can be booked up to one month in advance and as you have mentioned we also have appointments that you can book on line. We do find that a lot of the prebooked appointments are not attended even though a reminder is sent out, for instance two appointments have been wasted this morning. Please feel free to come and speak to us if you find you are having difficulty in getting an appointment or if you have any suggestions as to how we can improve our service |

I have been trying for a week to get an appointment for my 13 year old son - I ring and ring from 8.00 am when I eventually get through I get told no appointments and ring back tomorrow. I even explained that my son has an infected in-growing toe nail but still no appointment given.
I will probably have to go to A&E which is a waste of NHS resources and all I need is a doctor to look at a infection. There are never any appointments when you need one - appaulling service Reply from RADCLIFFE MEDICAL PRACTICE Mon, 02 Jul 2018 15:38:46 +0100 Thank you for taking the time to review our practice on NHS Choices. We are sorry you have been unable to get an appointment for your son, we do try our best to accommodate children. We have increased the number of appointments we have available by employing an additional doctor and also an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to help with demand. We also get many patients who do not attend for their appointment even when made on the same day and this appointment could have been available for other patients. We always welcome comments whether they are bad or good as this helps us to plan for the future. Once again we are sorry for the fact that you have been unable to obtain an appointment with our practice |
