ive been going to this doctors for over 24 years. recently the reception staff have been picking the phone up saying hello and putting it down or giving out advice on what's wrong with you? . When speaking to a doctor about my metal health I was told I had nothing to be sad about and they will see me in a month or so. How dismissing can the doctors be? Standards are awful and if you cant trust the doctors with health, who can you trust? Our Receptionists are requested to ask if patients will describe the type of problem as this helps the doctors to prioritise the 150 or so patients who call every morning . Patients who are ill and need to be seen on the day are helped by this - we see all patients requiring same day appointments on the same day. Mental health issues are a major part of our workload. I’m really concerned about your description of the consultation as senior partner. Please could you phone in on Tuesday morning and I will see you on that day to e Ore your concerns further.
