Not supportive in anyway. Just tell you to call 111. Agree with other reviews. They need better management. Gone downhill in the last few years and doesn't show signs of improving even though they've been in special measures. It's not got any better. Shame as they were good but not now. |

Joined this practice Nov 2017, when my own GP of 45 years passed away.
First impressions were that the reception area was dirty and smelly. Tired looking and in need of a good clean.
Reception staff were unhelpful and i felt didn’t really want to be there. From registering onwards, I had a growing catalogue of errors from quite simple admin tasks to more seriously getting results incorrect.
No one answers the phone, prescriptions were lost, drs appts cancelled or changed without notifying me. Extremely unhelpful. I have never experienced anything like this. I have been a surgery Manager so I know what to look out for. I felt so sorry for patients who are already feeling unwell having to ask their unfriendly and inexperienced staff to aid them, and witnessed many distraught patients trying to make themselves understood.
I have since found out that this surgery is in special measures. I can see why. It needs a really good shake up, employing happy caring professional staff, especially on the front desk, these are the representatives of your practice at the end of the day.
Hopefully one day someone will take note of all the poor comments they receive.
I have today re registered elsewhere. |
