If you can get past reception to see a doctor then you have hope. If you get one of the many doctors that doesn’t bother to read your notes then you haven’t. It’s very very difficult to make a complaint, you have to go through several layers of admin staff who are increasingly more toxic. A couple of the GP’s are very good but many don’t really care and you spend the phone all explaining your medical history. If you do attend this surgery then I recommend you record every interaction with them so you can explain to consultants and other professionals why your health is so bad, it’s a struggle to get any treatment. |

DO NOT USE THIS SURGERY IF YOU ARE A TRANS PERSON. From the first moment I joined the surgery they have had issues with me taking hormones and recently told me they wanted to take me off them i complained about the Dr and was told it was all in my head even though the head of the surgery also said the same thing, a couple of days later. I was speaking to Dr Park's about it and told me I was wrong and they wouldn't do that, later on that day i unpacked my prescription order which included my hormone patches to find a packet of the patches was missing when I rung up the surgery to ask them why they told me that they discussed lowering my hormone treatment, i was fuming as they told me the complete opposite, iasked to speak to Dr park's only to be told they he's not available till next Tuesday(seven days). I have now decided to move to another surgery even though I've been there less than a year, they clearly have an issue with the transgender community and irefuse to be seen by any of them anymore. |
