Recently just moved to the area so registered myself & my baby to this practise. Tried calling at 8am this morning to make an appointment for my son and it said user busy which was expected, but I didn’t get added into a queue? I then kept pressing ‘call back’ instantly, over 200 times and still ‘busy’! I then thought I’d try my luck and book an appointment through the online system and there is not a single appointment at all coming up? I’m starting to have doubts about whether I should have registered us both here as my previous practise (The Green House Surgery in Redcar) was amazing & there were always appointments online & you’d be placed into a queue on the phone. Not feeling good about this practise already. | ||||||

Once again not called by the GP on the day of a booked telephone appointment, I called at 5.55pm to check a call would be received and was told the doctor would call from home. I even asked the receptionist to see if she could speak to the doctor, incase the appointment had been missed, as it was an appointment for severe mental health issues but nothing. The doctors are fantastic when you do get to speak to them which only makes things like not being called, kept up to date etc worse. | ||||||

Village medical centre is not my practice I live out of the area recently I accompanied my husband to two appointments on the same day on arrival I found the receptionist friendly and helpful very approachable we then went into Dr Dunne my husband is vunerable he was treated with respect and dignity the dr spoke clearly and reassuring in a professional manner in the afternoon we saw Diabetic nurse Catherine Beattie she was wonderful the way she engaged with my husband and she was very thorough we w were made to feel nothing was a problem she was very kind throughout she truly does care about the patients The whole experience was a very good one thank you . | ||||||
