Difficult to give a balanced review because once you actually get an appointment, the doctors and staff are brilliant. I cannot fault the care they give once you get to see them, but getting to that stage!! The queueing times on the phone are beyond ridiculous. On my last attempt to get an appointment I sat on the line for over 90 minutes before being told there were no appointments available. Why is this the case? I don't blame the receptionists, they can only offer appointments if there are any... Is there not some way to at least advise callers in the queue there are no appointments left to save wasting so much time? I have been with this practice for over 30 years and it has never been this bad? Are there far too many patients on the books here for the number of doctors available? |

Telephone......I ask myself why bother....you can be holding on for a minimum of 30mins......get through to a receptionist who's telephone manner is non existencent.....you feel as they don't want to help you.......except for one..who will listen to you and help you if needed.....in fact two.....Practice manager and her number two......it is difficult now to see a doctor face to face....it would help a lot more if the person you speak to was more understanding.... |
