South Milford Surgery - Micklefield

The care we have received at this surgery has been poor to say the least. I have been to the surgery for a health condition, and without any examination the doctor said it was covid. I have not had covid nor any symptoms of covid, I live in a household with my husband and 3 young daughters who have also not had symptoms. It appears the doctors use covid as an answer for everything so they don't have to actually do their job anymore. I still have the same health condition 4 months on. Furthermore my daughter needed an appointment and was told we couldn't get an appointment however we could have a 'call back appointment' in a weeks time. The receptionist was given a number to call back on and failed to give this to the doctor. So on the day of the call back they didn't call. When we phoned they said there wasn't anything they could do because they weren't able to call back, this was the receptionist fault and now we have to wait to make another call back at a later date. This is disgusting and unacceptable, this is my child who is 5 years old who needs medical care, and is being let down by the doctors and staff.

The nursing staff are excellent, and the doctors seem good. But most (Not all) of the reception team are very rude and intimidating. I dread having to speak to them on the phone as they are very abrupt and most are not very helpful. The automated telephone system seems to be constantly broken when I need to order repeat prescriptions/book an appointment, and it gets very infuriating.
