Contacting the surgery is not usually a problem and i can usually get an appointment, but considering how busy GP surgeries are in Bedford, this may reflect patient experience more than anything. I do not visit the surgery very often as I am not one to complain but after 5+ years of back pain i decided to visit and was told by the doctor that my back pain was not serious because i could get on and off the bed and that I just needed to stop lifting heavy things (not something I do often). That was it... I recently visited about some mental health issues and i was absolutely disgusted with the 'care' I received. The doctor asked how i had been feeling, interrupted me a number of times and then just cut me off completely. Making me feel awful. He then thrusted a prescription at me and told me this would make me feel calmer. I explained I wasn't keen on medication and he told me I could do a self referral to another service if I wanted to. All of the staff at this practice are fantastic.... helpful,caring,professional and approachable. We have been patients of the practice over 40 years and come from the other side of town to attend appointments. I Have Been Going To This Surgery Now For Over 30 Years The help I Get From All Off The Staff Is The Very Best I Have All The Time I Have Going There I Not Hesitate To Recommend This Surgery To Anyone You can Get Sane Day Appointments Their And Dr Das Has Always Looked After Me Really Well
