Worst doctor surgery I have ever been with. Don't let you know when you have a review due. When you do get appointment one doctor leave it up to you to chance to have the medication and gives you print out. And tells you to go away and read it. If I could I would change doctors I would. Some of the reception staff need training in telephone manners, empathy skills, communication skills and people skills. They are so rude and inpatient!
Although the doctors and nurse practitioner are always friendly, helpful and professional! | ||||||

Although I have found the reception staff and nurses to be pleasant and polite I find it very hard to book an appointment!! Some mornings I am ringing anywhere between 15 and 47 times before I get through to someone who tells me they are booked up? I will constantly get the busy tone and when it does go through no one answers and this is every single time I call for a same day appointment.
I have found that the changing of drs all the time is of no help and we never get any consistency in who we see to follow our problems through to the end, which leads me on to my last visit which has left me feeling angry, annoyed, and disheartened by the Dr I saw.
I was late to an appointment by 6 minutes as I couldn't get there quick enough due to having a broken bone in my foot and boy did I pay for it even though I am normally waiting anywhere up to 25 minutes prior.
One particular doctor is the most rude, dismissive arrogant and ignorant dr I have every had to deal with, he called me up in the Friday to give me my results from my scans to tell me I need to come see him Monday which I did. After he belittled me for being late and told me we would have to be brief because of it he then chose to ignore everything I was saying or that's how it appeared by his refusal to even look at me whilst talking to him, he then told me nothing about my results and question me on previous meds for a different problem that had no relevance, he weighed me as I reminded him that's what he needed to see me about, told me nothing about my referral and when I directly asked him what does the musculoskeleto department do he simple said " they will see what they can do"
I have now found out what I've been referred for, what they do and what is expected of me. I have also been told that I need my bmi to be below 30 or they will refuse to see me which he didn't tell me about and I would have lost my place without knowing why and continued with my problems for God knows how long.
My advice, if you can get an appointment at this surgery then do so as it's a clean tidy and friendly place to go however at all costs avoid seeing this doctor as this man clearly does not care about his patients.
I will eagerly await a response from this, as I will also be filing a complaint against this doctor to stop him treating people this way it's simply wrong. | ||||||
