Having been registered at this surgery for almost two years, I know feel it is time to move elsewhere. I have seen different GP’s with the same condition over 15 months and each time I came away feeling dreadful that I had been an inconvenience. No one has really taken the time to talk to me about it or taken it seriously.
Last time I saw a Locum GP. What a difference- he sat and talked to me (didn’t look at a computer screen) the whole consultation. Saw that I had had a blood test over a year ago and made a diagnosis from that. I was put on medication and 10 days later the condition is under control. It has made such an unbelievable difference to me.
If it was that simple why wasn’t it picked up before??
I have no faith in this practice any more. |

I joined this practice in 2013 (and my family joined in 2012) when I left the Army and settled in Nottingham. The service and standard of treatment was excellent. I could always get through on the phone, and always get an appointment - normally the same day if needed. They regularly contacted me for checkups when needed (blood sugar, or age related), and always went the extra mile for patients.
Unfortunately, the practice was taken over by the Nottingham GP Alliance in April 2018, and ever since then the service has been getting worse and worse. I can now rarely get an appointment the dame day - normally have to wait a few days, and Ive not received a single contact letter since. I wasnt even informed the practice was being taken over by the alliance.
Such a shame a great practice is now in decline. |

One if the best surgeries I have used. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating and I never struggle to get an appointment when I need one.
Test results have come back promptly.
The doctor listens and actually cares as well as the nurses on site. |
