The reception staff, booking and knowledge of the doctor were all excellent. I have a concern related to a question I was asked about whether there may be stress related factors impacting my physical issue. When I answered honestly I got the response that ‘everyone does’ (have stress) with the clear implication that nobody and nothing could compare to the life of a doctor (or this particular doctor?). Speaking as someone with family in the nhs and who works in the public sector I am patently aware of how much knowledge a GP has to have and how hard they work. But my worry is that someone who has to build up all their confidence and courage and is at their wits end in their job/life could have been in that room in my appointment slot instead of me and would have done the same as I did. Stop talking and get my tablets. I understand the time constraints doctors are under too, but If I don’t mention this, it goes unsaid that it is ok to make a quick judgement of the worthiness of people to have mental health issues and then dismiss them. |

I don't often leave reviews (in any forum) but wanted to mention the doctor for his professional conduct and help with what has been a tough diagnosis and a tough few months. I had a stroke at the age of 33 and he spotted it within minutes of seeing me, despite no outward physical symptoms. He arranged for me to go straight to the Salford Royal hospital and I've been very lucky to make a good physical recovery. Things could have been much worse. I am an experienced solicitor and I am advised by some of the UK's best medical experts on a weekly basis what good practice looks like. He certainly falls within that bracket and I'm grateful for his continued help. |

I have been registered at this practice for many years and in the last year I have needed very frequent GP monitoring . The Practice GP’s have been very empathetic taking care to listen to my concerns and help me manage my condition . I have found no difficultly in booking appointments on the day if urgent and I regularly use the app to plan appointments in advance and order prescriptions . The GP receptionists are lovely offering a person centred approach- they have also been very supportive over the past year during my visits . Overall I am very happy with the level of service I have received at the Practice and I would highly recommend it to others . |
