I have just called today to try to organise a repeat prescription for myself.
Spoke to the receptionist today, who was extremely helpful and has set up the repeat prescription for me. The receptionist explained that the prescription will be ready for me to collect at the pharmacy.

Appointment wise this surgery is appalling, why they don't have a queuing system I don't understand. I called on Friday from 8am and after getting cut off many, many times I was eventually told there was no appointments left.
Monday same story as Friday, so Tuesday I didn't bother as I thought what's the point, as I'm sure alot of vulnerable adults and children have felt at times about this surgery letting them down.
On Wednesday I was desperate, so rang again from 8am and after 40 persistent calls I could only get an appointment at Long Eaton, I couldn't prebook at Sawley or anything. So I grabbed the appointment with both hands.
The issue is this will be the 3rd doctor I've seen now both the last two doctors told me to come back and see them but how can I, as I can't get an appointment with either of them. I probably should have been referred to the hospital by now but as I'm starting from fresh with each doctor It's delaying things for me and Moir surely?
I understand the pressure doctors surgeries are under but the appointment booking system and limited opening hours of this surgery do not help or make sense.
Its also a shame and as when you can get an appointment the doctors are great. | ||||||

I took my daughter to see an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and she was brilliant. She put my young daughter at ease straight away and listened to our concerns and took them very seriously. She was supportive and offered us great advice and a referral. It's not always the easiest to get an appointment but when you do all of the staff are fantastic. | ||||||
