Given the current financial and ecomical climate, I am incredibly grateful to be a patient at this practice; I have friends and family at other surgeries who receive sub-standard care (or probably proportionate care acknowledging lack of funding, etc.) and I can genuinely say that I feel valued and cared for as a patient at the Arthur Medical Centre.
Over recent weeks, I've had numerous trips to the Surgery to deal with one health issue in particular; I have spoken to reception staff, nurses and Doctors and at no point have I felt that I was in unskilled hands, or that I wasn't being listened to.
Although I am singling out this Surgery, I feel that most GP practices are performing well given the poor financial support received, but the general public are quick to complain when services don't meet their expectations. Despite my statement, I do genuinely feel that the Arthur Mecical Centre has delivered the best care from any GP Surgery I have ever been a patient of. Reply from Arthur Medical Centre Fri, 08 Sep 2017 10:54:05 +0100 Thank you for taking the time to send your comments, we value all feedback and use it to develop our service. We are pleased that we have been able to meet your needs and that we have done so with dignity and respect, and have shared your praise with our team, all of whom are committed to delivering great patient care. It is encouraging to note that some patients are aware of the huge pressure on general practice at the moment. So far Arthur Medical Centre has been reasonably resilient, however we do anticipate facing some challenges ourselves over the coming months and will be endeavouring to support patients to see the right clinician at the appropriate time. Thank you again for your feedback. |

My Wife and I have been with the practice 15 years. Having moved around a few times we can say without hesitation that this is the best practice we have been with. Last week through my carelessness I missed an appointment, the only time in 15 years. I understand how busy GP`s are and phoned through immediately to apologise. The staff were very understanding and i appreciated that greatly. |
