Avoid this surgery if you can .In the time I have been a patient I have been left with no choice but to raise numerous complaints due to poor levels of care and dignity afforded to vulnerable and under age family members. One of my family has developed long term chronic conditions due to AMC delaying referrals and dismissing patients concerns . The complaints range from discrimination, rude staff with zero sensitivity towards patients, misdiagnosis due to lack of care or unwilling/refusing to refer to specialists which resulted in serious health complications(more than one occasion). Lost prescriptions ,incorrect and hurtful degrading terminology used in correspondence from the surgery. Inaccurate record keeping and not protecting my families personal and private data .The list is seemingly endless and the surgery never improves it just seems to have less and less to offer the patients. Not recommended at all. |

My experience with the staff and service at this surgery has been superb and without doubt their early diagnosis has saved my life.
The concerns of a nurse at a routine breathing test in January lead to a GP immediately referring me for an ECG at Derby Royal hospital. The ECG flagged up irregularities which lead to another hospital referral for an angiogram which in turn confirmed coronary heart disease and a 90% blockage of a major artery. In fact, I was heading for what the medical profession call a “widow-maker” heart attack which is normally fatal. In February, I underwent an angioplasty procedure in hospital and had 3 stents fitted. I have just returned to work on a phased return basis.
Over the past 6 months, I have been in regular contact with the surgery and in particular met with one specialist GP who has expertly explained my condition, recovery and clarified the complex reports from the hospital cardiologist. In addition, the GP has prescribed and managed my medication and supported me and my Wife through a very difficult period of our lives. I have always managed to get appointments as and when necessary either by phone or by using the on-line booking service. The staff on the reception desk have been patient and understanding and always answered any queries I have had. I have absolutely no complaints about this surgery or the staff that work there. Thank you so much !! |

If l had my way l would give her a no star review. They don't listen too you. They are really unprofessional needs closing down. They are really unhelpful and discriminat you if you have serten health conditions. I've been misdiagnosed by this unprofessional out fit. Which put me in Hospital for a week. There was a ggd Doctor there when he left they might as well closed down. |
