I am absolutely sick and tired of the rude receptionists at this practice. I have put up with it for years now and have always bit my tongue as I appreciate that it is, I assume, quite a challenging job, especially in the current climate. I had the phone on speaker whilst family members were present and they also were astonished at the rudeness of the lady that I spoke to. Sort your receptionists out, train them and if they do not want to be in a patient facing role then encourage them onto pastures greener! |

Felt compelled to write a review after seeing the star rating when looking for the opening times to book a late evening appointment as I totally disagree.
My family and I always receive excellent care at this practice. It used to be hard to get appointments but I think that this is better now that they do more 'on the day' ones although we don't use it very frequently. In a struggling NHS people just expect too much.
I have always had great care from the GP's and more recently choose the Nurse Practitioner whenever I come or bring my family as she is very approachable. I honestly can't praise the staff enough for their care in this practice. |

Ripley medical centre saved my life this week and my wife’s life 5 years ago. My wife was found to have bowel cancer and Dr Oyedele found it very quickly and DRI got rid of it! I was diagnosed by Dr Kennedy as having suspected Angina. I was to DRI sent for an Angiogram on Monday and they found The critical left arterial descending artery (Widow maker) to be 95% blocked. They fixed it with a stent and now on the road to a full recovery! Derby Royal Infirmary are amazing and Ripley medical centre team are outstanding!! |
