    So it took 1 week to get an appointment here which I would think is fair for a non-urgent matter. However, I had to ring around 10 times throughout the day to get through the receptionist which is poor. I arrived on time for my appointment however was seen 30 minutes later than my appointment time, I didn't think too much of this maybe a busy day at the surgery. The doctor (not a Locum) did not apologise for the delay, was rude in his manner (cut me off when speaking) and rushed the 10 minute consultation into 2-3 minutes, see you later good bye. I would not have left this review but after the poor attitude of the doctor, I thought everyone should know about this to make the correct choice

    Thank you for your feedback, apologies that you had to ring ten times to obtain an appointment our receptionists do usually point out how the system works and how the appointment slots open twice daily for appointments in either 3 or days. Unfortunately do to the nature of our business clinicians cannot always run to time as they sometime deal with patients that require further input or indeed need admitting to hospital. I will feedback your comments to the GP concerned and if you would like to discuss further please do not hesitate to contact the practice.

    Not helpful at all. Explained my situation couldnt get an appoinment. Said i would get a callback from docotor. Then they offered parliment street to see a nurse. Explained I cant get there. Doctor phoned me I could barely speak and found the doctor very argumentative when i said i couldnt get to parliment street. i had to release the phone call in the end feeling even more drained.

    Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback. As I am not aware of the original phone call, I can only give a standard response. I am sorry that we were not able to give you an appointment when you first rang. If all of our same day appointments are already taken, we will direct your call to the On-call doctor of the day, who will telephone you after their surgery has finished. If we are still not able to see you, we can now offer appointments at a service called GP+ for same day appointments. This is run by Doctors within the City on a rota basis, to alleviate the waiting times for GP Practices, and to allow patients to be seen after hours and weekends. However, we do realise that some patients do still prefer to be seen by their own Doctor. Unfortunately, our appointments open up twice a day, at 8am and 12pm for appointments 3 days in advance for a GP and 2 weeks in advance for a Nurse. Emergency appointments open up at 8am each day for the same day, but these do get booked up very quickly. We have tried many different methods in offering appointments, and the current method does seem to be working the best, however we are always open for suggestions. If you would like discuss this matter further, please feel free to come into the surgery and ask for the manager. I hope, however that I have been able to deal with your comment in full.
