I moved to this surgery last year after a couple of bad experiences at my old surgery which had merged into a large, money focussed practice.
My experiences at WBMC have been exactly the opposite. The staff are always polite and courteous. I have always been able to get an appointment. And most importantly the GPs always take time to investigate my health concerns and never hesitate in referring where necessary, | ||||||

I've experienced already several times quite rude and unfriendly behaviour of the receptionists. Moreover, every time I'm having an appointment with the GP, I feel like there is too much of a hurry and unfortunately no genuine care about the health of the patients. Once during the appointment, I was told quite rudely that there is not enough time to discuss the other problem I came up with. It's disappointing and annoying especially because sometimes I have to wait for several weeks or months before receiving an appointment and then I face such inappropriate and uncaring behaviour. The health problems of mine were not diagnosed and the GP just told me to wait some time till it gets better on its own. I strongly consider changing the GP surgery because the meetings with the doctor at this centre do not bring anything. | ||||||

I had a problem which required detailed investigation. Prompt referral to specialist. I was diagnosed with cancer on a Friday , and early the following Monday the surgery rang to ask me to see the GP. Appointment made for the same day and he was sympathetic, helpful and understanding, Subsequent telephone conversations also excellent. I needed a letter from the doctor in support of a holiday insurance claim. it was ready within an hour of being dropped off.
I have had exemplary service and would not hesitate to recommend this practice. | ||||||
