Trying to get an appointment at this practice is always a disaster. Usually the phone will be left to ring endlessly until you receive a message from the phone company that the call has timed out, or usually you get a response which sounds like they have just deliberately hung the call up on you.
In the past when I have finally gotten through I've been told various things by reception staff. Call during the day and you'll be told that you have to call back the next morning at 8am to be triaged and then told if you deserve an appointment or not. Call at 8am and after waiting over half an hour to speak to someone you'll be told that there are no appointments. Once I was even told to hang up and call GP+, who then informed me that the only way to get a GP+ appointment is to have it booked by your GP practice.
The practice nurses I've seen previously have always been helpful and courteous, but the doctor is uncommunicative, unfriendly and unhelpful. I'll be moving to a different GP at the earliest opportunity. |

The practice management and their receptionists, were very very helpful and went out of their way to help us when we lost our beloved Grandmother this week. Due to her passing at home, and her regular GP being abroad we had issues with the death certificate. We had to make numerous calls to the coroner and the Practice helped us expedite the Death Certificate. Highly recommend. Wonderful Practice Management, and great staff. Mera Akhtar |
