I have been registered at this practice for many years now and have never had a problem. I was recently there for an appointment with the nurse ( who by the way was outstanding) and noticed a lot of people coming in to join the practice, due to the recent closure of another near by practice. The reception staff were trying their hardest to accommodate these people but in return received nothing but disrespect, abuse and rudeness. It was appalling when you could see the team trying their hardest to please these people. I understand the frustration of these people due to their practice closing but this is not Sherrington parks fault nor the receptionists. I have never once had a bad experience with this practice, all of the team have always been acoomdatimg, respectful and most of all caring. The appontment system here works great for me as they give you the choice to book up to 6 months ahead but also give the option of calling at 8am for a same day appointment. I had to make a comment as I feel the other comment about the staff are unfair. Amazing practice, I’m just hoping the new patients here don’t drag the practice down and continue abusing the lovely reception staff. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a outstanding doctors. |

This surgery are making it almost impossible for working people to be able to register at their surgery. They will only hand you the registration form between the hours of 2pm - 3pm which means I have to take a half day off work. I initailly went on my lunchbreak, after calling beforehand, but once there they wouldn't give me the form - eventhough there were only a handful of people in the waiting room and no one else queuing. They said they were too busy and even if I waited they wouldn't see me. So, I took a half day holiday at work to be able to collect the form and at this point they told me I needed proof of address and my NHS number. I didn't have it so I took the form away to complete. I gathered all the details they needed from my current doctor, completed all the forms, had my proof of address, and went to drop the form in on my way to work. On arrival, I was told I could only hand the completed form in between 2pm-3pm. Again there was no one queuing, 1 person in the waiting room and 3 reception staff. When I explained that I can't take any more time off work and can they take the form now, they were completely unwilling to help or even offer me any other solution. What are working people supposed to do? Take 2 days holiday a year to be able to register at the doctors? The reception staff offered no help whatsoever, had no sympathy for the fact I was taking unpaid time off work and were rude. When I left the main receptionist decided to sarcastically and continually say "Bye, have a lovely day" to antagonise me. When I said "there's no need to be like that" She continued to say "please leave" and "Bye have a lovely day" in the same sarcastic antagonistic tone. I felt completely at a loss and very upset with my treatment at this doctors surgery and looking at the reviews I'm not alone. Who knows, maybe the doctors are really nice but we'll never know because it is impossible to register and communicate with the unhelpful, uncaring reception staff. |

I cant make an appointment that's in my convenience and I have to ring up at 8am in the morning. This is ridiculous as I work full time so i need to arrange one thats appropriate for me.
