Having been a member of this surgery since I was very young, I have learned to accept the norms of the surgery. The actual care you receive by doctors and nurses is great, yet the receptionists do an awful job. I had an appointment on the 20th Dec, the receptionists were on their break presumably because they left me waiting for about half an hour at their desk, even other receptionists were seeing to their patients but didn’t acknowledge they could just tell me to take a seat. Furthermore after ringing for half an hour and constantly being put on hold theirs no answer. I think you need some new receptionists they are just the worst no manners at all. Our receptionist team is fully trained and we aim to meet capacity for patient demand. The reception desk is normally staffed well and should never be left for longer than a couple of minutes. We do not have a queuing system on our phones so I don't understand how you could have been put on hold for half an hour. I will pass on your feedback to the Reception Supervisor and ask her to investigate any failings on that day. Thank you for your feedback | ||||||
