Why did I have to make an appointment for my flu & Covid jab then when I arrived I had to Join the end of the very long queue & wait for Over ONE hour? Because Dove Valley had decided to have a drop in clinic at the same time. So people with appointments didn’t matter What an utter shambles. Have DV lost the plot? |

Some doctors are good and some are bad. Unfortunately I got a bad one this time and walked out. They have probably been instructed by the government not to help poor people. Also I felt that Doctor William Barber fat shamed me. I have rights and I am well aware of them, I should be treated with decency and NOT fat shamed. I cried all the way home and was very distraught for days afterwards. I feel that we're in a situation now where the rich get help and the poor don't. |

Since Covid this practice has changed, but not for The better. I am utterly disappointed in the service that I now receive. I saw some paramedic for an appointment in May 2022. She was referring me to Physio. August 2022 & I had to ring the GP surgery as I have heard nothing. She never referred me! I had yet another telephone appointment from a GP, sometime in the afternoon I was informed. Unfortunately I couldn’t get to my phone quick enough. I telephoned back within minutes - the GP will phone you back. He didn’t. I called in to the surgery, I really needed to speak with the GP. Basically it was tough. I’d missed my call. Try iHeart Barnsley. The service is disgusting. Why can’t telephone calls be given an allotted slot, just like a face to face appointment?? The system is failing. Dove Valley are now failing it’s Patients. This is my life & my own problems that I am having to deal with. If it were you then you would want it dealt with. I used to think this surgery was the best on the planet. Not any more. The reception staff, a lot are new & not as nice as the old lot! You can never get through on the telephones. Something needs ti be done to address this ‘slip’ in your services |
