I have lived in a number of different areas around the country and the Roman Gate surgery has been the best one I have been registered with for over 50 years. The staff are always friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. The doctors and nurses are competent and supportive. In particular - I was in a car accident as a child which fractured my cervical vertebrae and damaged the spinal cord. It took 8 years before the problem was diagnosed and I had a cervical fusion. However, a I have aged arthritis has built up in that area to the point where I was starting to become paralysed. The surgery could not have been more helpful in referring me for a further operation.

I have been a patient at this practice for many years and although we can’t mention names one of the doctors who work Monday and Tuesday is the most caring understanding doctor I have ever met. He always takes time to listen to what you have to say doesn’t judge you and takes his time. He is a wonderful doctor and I would recommend him to everyone. The one down side, is one of the reception ladies let’s the practice down she has no compassion at all and her manner is downright rude which is a shame as the whole practice is lovely.
