I have praise for the staff who are working under terrific stress and verbal abuse, as heard from the waiting area. However this is usually about lack of appointments. This town is rapidly expanding with younger families moving in and existing residents becoming more frail and needing support. Many young families have also had to move away from aged parents to find employment. This leaves a large number of us oldies having no local family to help out, at times of difficulty, be it senior dementia, multiple debilitating health issues or general depression. It's a lonely trip. Needing to access a GP within a week by appointment is impossible, the same day apts are often gone by 9 am ( often despite being on the phone for an hour trying) . I speak highly of the sincerity of the doctors we have accessed the Dr has been very supportive and active in helping myself and husband.
