Trying for three days to get through...only when I went up to the clinic was I told the number on their website was wrong...dreadful service all round. The practice manager must be on permanent leave.

Called today for blood results, depending on results I was advised to arrange an appointment with Dr or clinician. Explained the situation to the receptionist only to be told rather abruptly we don't pre-book appointments and then hung up, imagine how swiftly of be removed from the patient list if I had the audacity to talk to the receptionist the way they feel entitled to speak to patients. The rudeness of the receptionist staff at thistle practice seems to be a very common issue that the practice manager is well aware of but very reluctant to deal with.

Advised by receptionist that the doctor has more important matters to deal with than a covid sick note! A sick note that wasn't requested, advised by employer to contact gp to get advice as tested positive for covid and still testing positive and showing symptoms after isolation period. Only to be told by receptionist that doctor has more important matters to deal with than a covid sick note and to call back tomorrow after 4pm. I understand they have a job to do but it can be done without being rude or trying to belittle their patients.
