The picture painted by previous reviewer does not reflect either my recent experience or earlier experiences over 15 years. Dr Black is great, as the negative reviewer conceded, but he leads an excellent team of listening and caring doctors and nurses including an exceptional nurse practitioner. Reception staff always arrange for one of the medical/nursing team to call back and thereafter an appointment is given, usually same day, if required. The practice reception staff went the extra mile recently to help me repatriate my 91 year old father in law who had taken seriously ill in Spain. My only criticism is the lengthy preamble before you are put through on the telephone but that is probably required in these litigious days. Suggestion for improvement would be to restore the telephone facility which told you what number you were in the call queue. I’m very pleased that I am on the books of this surgery. | ||||||

I have been a patient here for many years and seen it go downhill. Getting an appointment is impossible as the receptionists decide who can be seen by a doctor. I don’t even know if the practice manager exists as you hit a brick wall when you ask to speak to her. It’s AWFUL! They need to put their patients first. Terrible doctors there besides Dr Black. | ||||||
