We had chosen this company to care for our elderly and vulnerable Mother, after she left Hospital. We chose the company because of the attractive quotations made on their website, and because we understood that they were meeting all standards required by the Care Quality Commission. Our Mother only used this company for a very short period of time, and numerous issues arose : 1. Had numerous different carers, (website quoted, would only have max 3 carers, who would be introduced beforehand). 2. Carer fell asleep after giving our Mother her lunch, (Cuppa Soup). 3. Carer forgot to go to our Mothers, and ended up arriving 2 hours late. 4. Carers leaving our Mother after 10 / 20 minutes etc, yet she was paying for half an hour. 5. Carers not knowing what chores they should be doing.
6. Carers discussing personal things with our Mother, ie: other staff, other customers, peronal details etc. 7. Rudeness of staff and company owner, when we phoned with queries etc. 8. Carers not using disposable gloves, (cross contamination). The list goes on and on. In our opinion, the company mis-represented themselves on their website, and were mis-leading. In our opinion, we would definately not recommend this company to anyone. We have already put in a complaint to theCQC ................ |

We have had an excellent experience of Haslemere Home Care, having used them for home care for nearly two years now to provide twice daily visits for our father. They have been consistently responsive to our concerns, have provided constant and reliable support for him throughout, and have been flexible to meet our requirements. Although rota changes inevitably means that a number of people come round, he has one person who comes very regularly and this has worked out extremely well for him. On the basis of our experience we would have no hesitations in recommending them to anyone. |
