My great uncle is being cared for by this company, I am not happy that they only stay for 5-10 mins when it should be 40mins X 4 times per day. They are polite and lovely to chat too but from me photocoping their daily report, it states that they only make a brew, and empty his urine pot....something I find unacceptable that they are charging him a fortune and we have yet to see a cost or the bill. I think that this is going to an expensive experience for just so little time they spend there. It's just a shame I can't do it, but with my expertise knowledge with safeguarding and policies, I will be carefully monitoring my great uncles care more. |

Recently, careline looked after my Mum at home, paid for by Mum.
Most of the carers were bright and cheerful.
Some carers would stop only 5-10 minutes, for what should have been 40 mins.
A number of other issues were repeatedly raised with the manager, these were met with denials and defensive responses.
I would urge other users of this and all home care agencies to become informed in Health&Social Care guidelines, standards and policies. Info can be found on the SCIE or skills for care website. |
