having lived here from the 1st july 2013 the year it opened the standard of cleanliness has always been maintained. It is a light airy building with plenty of light.A great mixture of people of all ages who have the choice on joining in all activities or staying home.Home been the lovely flats that we have.Anyone wishing for a pleasant retirement and help with their disabilities gets it from the caring carers who work here.I personally have not had this enviroment before i would score it 4.9 out of 5, and a mixture of age groups have never been a problem to my knowledge. |

In my opinion if you are looking for a relaxing and friendly atmosphere this is not the place for you.The flats are really exceptional and a good layout, the area isn't bad but the age range from basically late forties to well into their nineties just doesn't gel. We're told we need the young ones to help the older less able ones but unfortunately the young ones are having non of this. There is definitely a divide and the atmosphere in here can be unbearable leaving older tenants staying in their flats lonely and unhappy. My suggestion to anyone looking for independent living or Sheltered Housing is to make sure the age limit is exactly what it says. The carers in here are very friendly but I cannot comment on the care they provide as we're not in need of care at the moment. |
