Winfield Hospital

23rd July 2019. I went in for a hernia operation out the same day.I could not have had better treatment anywhere. Every one of the staff from the tea lady to the consultants were outstanding. The care and respect shown by all, pre and post op here should be something to be aspired to by all hospitals and staff. This is my second NHS operation here, I had a prostate op here a couple of years ago and I had the same first class treatment then. I have been in many, many hospitals in the last 72 years in many countries and have never found one to this high standard.

I had a second physiotherapy appointment following on from Knee Arthroscopy, because I had residual pain which was interfering with sleep and driving after a short period in one position. I was given a simple way of stopping the pain which I was able to do myself, in bed and even when driving. It has worked perfectly, and I am totally impressed with the knowledge and help I was given. Thank you.

I recently had an overnight stay for a disc decompression operation. From the very first appointment, to being discharged after the follow-up appointment, all staff were just amazing, reception staff, to porters and nurses, everyone showed such professionalism, answering questions and offering support. A big thank you to the Consultant, their team and the wonderful nurses that took care of me during my stay, I am very humbled by the hard work and many hours you all dedicate, the care you show is amazing and I am thankful that I had such lovely people take care me.
