I have to use several of the departments at the hospital, predominantly physiotherapy, orthotics and minor injuries. Every time ( and there's been dozens) I attend the staff have been so helpful courteous and polite and their treatment regime is brilliant and tailor made to my needs.
This hospital is vital for this community and should not be under threat of closure of departments. I would not be able to access the same treatment etc if I was made to go to Leicester or elsewhere as I cannot always travel so this hospital is a lifeline for me. I have never had a bad experience here unlike at other hospitals so cannot fault the service and staff.
In these cash strapped NHS days the often over worked and pressured staff remain amazing and do what they can for you with the limited resources available. I can't thank them enough. I have an appointment with the physio dept, I was told I would get a letter with all information, that didn't arrive. There are 2 entrances to this hospital and I needed to know which one to use as I can't walk far at the moment. I phoned and was told to use the sliding doors but not which car park to use. Tried to find map of inside of hospital but nothing available. I find Stamford and Peterborough hospitals much easier to navigate and with better patient information.
Haven't had any treatment yet so can't comment on that.
