Having spent the best part of two hours on the phone to book a blood test for my daughter last week. (Cant do online booking as shes a child). I was promised a call back to book her in as shes a child, within 48 hours of speaking to them, it was unclear why they werent booking me in at the time as the phone line is meant be book for booking children and urgent appointments, but I accepted thats the way it works. I never got that call back and its six days later. Having waited two hours on the phone today and gone from being 14th to 2nd in the queue I was cut off. Im now on the phone Again!! 11th in the queue Still, running out of battery and at my wits end. She really needs this test and weve already lost a week since being sent for testing. On top of all this when you first get through (having tried multiple times as initially you cant and just get user busy repeatedly) you then get the menu of options, press 3 too book urgent/child appts, then it takes you through to the same menu of options again, Four Times!! before it put us in the booking queue. This isnt new as I remember the same thing happening a long time ago when I had to book an appointment. The booking system is completely broken and there is no other way to get in touch but to sit for hours not knowing if youll get through at the end of it. |

I need an urgent blood test. My GP initially didn’t label it urgent. So one Friday I rang to book , waited 40 minutes to get to speak to a receptionist. She was very nice but told me I couldn’t book it by phone because it wasn’t urgent. So my GP changed it to urgent. I have now spent three days trying to get though in the phone to book the appointment. I am currently in a queue for a conversation. I have been holding the line for more than 15 minutes so far…it moves down at about 10 minutes per caller. I suspect it goes down as people give up waiting. I may do that soon. |

The system of using the site Sangix. Is not fit for purpose ,there site half the time doesn’t work and when it does it will not except password ,if you phone the hospital all you get is a recording. |
