Had the misfortune to be admitted to withybush on Sunday ending up on ward 10. If we lose withybush it will be one of the biggest mistakes this or any other government make. The facilities on ward 10 you wouldn’t better if you had gone private, side ward had own tv, en-suite shower, EV and the staff were just fantastic, friendly, you could have a laugh with, nothing too much trouble really made you feel comfortable. Staff in a&e same as well also the auxiliary staff serving meals friendly. This is certainly a gem that we must not lose.

We travelled from Abermule in Mid Wales to Pembroke to visit family on Saturday 14 May 2022 & my Mum became ill & was taken to Withybush Hospital early hours of Sunday 15 May 2022 where she had a stomach infection, temperature & irregular heart. The Doctors & Nurses have been so amazing. The care & attention has been excellent. This is by far the best hospital I have attended. Nothing is too much trouble & they keep the family well informed of all aspects of Mums care & treatments. I can not emphasise enough how excellent they have all been even down to booking your visiting times. XX Thank you all so much XX

I attended A&E on 24 September between 18.30 and 6 am on 25 September. The long wait was due to a bad road traffic accident. All the medical staff treated me and my head injuries with respect and great care. However one of the receptionists did not. Having been given guaze to wipe up the blood from a wound that was still bleeding I used them all up. I asked this lady if she could get me some more and she refused saying I wasn't bleeding and I only had a scratch! I do not consider 9 stitches, 5 staples and glue in another area to be a small scratch! I know they have a difficult job but noone was causing trouble in any way. However, Dr Diane ...and nurse Carl were brilliant and I would like to thank them for their kind and caring attention despite the pressures of night shift plus the extra one of a bad traffic accident. I was on holiday from Sheffield.
