The home is a service that provides accomodation for up to six people who have learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder.

59 Bury Road is a specialist residential service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and challenging behaviours. Service users are supported to develop individualised person centred plans that promote increased choice, control over their lives and independence, with a focus on recovery and positive behaviour support.Our experienced team works in partnership with families, carers, advocates and public service professionals to ensure that the support provided is pro-active and appropriate.

We follow an active, person centred approach which supports service users to make choices and achieve their planned outcomes.

Our Total Communication approach enables staff to implement individualised communication strategies for service users with communication difficulties.

We work closely with community teams to ensure that& service users& continue to access key services and appointments, and this close working relationship enables us to focus on increased independence and recovery for service users who have mental health needs.
