Brookvale House

Brookvale House is located in the heart of Southampton just off Portswood High Street. Its high street location enables our residents to have access to high street amenities such as banks, post office, clothing shops, and corner stores.

The home has benefited from the creation of additional lounge areas that allow residents to spend time in a variety of social and quiet areas. It also allows areas of privacy outside of a resident’s bedroom where they can have a nice quiet conversation over tea with their visitors.

The home has 33 single bedrooms and one double bedroom, many with en-suite facilities. Each bedroom has individually controlled heating and access to television points and telephone extensions should residents want these facilities for themselves.

The staff work with all the residents closely, allowing the care given to be very personalised, based on information gleaned from thre residents themselves and their friends and families.

Interests and hobbies are encouraged through working with the activities coordinator, who ensures that all resients, where able, take part in the activities arranged to keep the active both physically and metally.

This all results in a warm, caring and happy environment being created for all users . Many comments have been made by visitors who feel the warmth on entry into Brookvale House.
