I visited this Optometrist in September for an eye test and eye health examination. Every one was perfectly pleasant. The printer I was told was broken and they emailed my prescription as the lenses were going to be very expensive. In due course I obtained new specs per near prescription. Unfortunately I needed them for driving and I could not get used to new glasses and continued wearing my old ones. In March 2022 I had a new eye test and a new prescription. The optometrist said my prescription was very different to the one I'd been issued with, and advised me to keep wearing my old glasses until I have new replacement per new prescription. Obviously this has cost me financially and time wise. I have never been given a duff prescription before. And we are told new prescriptions sometimes takes some getting used to! Although I felt vindicated that I was right! I also feel disappointed with the practitioner. As I had deliberately sought out a private one who had good reviews.
