purchased a new pair of reading glasses in September, and had the anti reflective finish and tinting at an additional cost. After wearing them for several months I noticed that I could not wear them in the sun without being totally blinded, and while away recently in a very sunny Morocco I could not even wear the glasses at all.
My partner purchased glasses the same day as myself and had the same additions (anti defective and tint) also has been having trouble keeping the glasses on in the sun.
We returned to Specsavers and explained the situation, only to be told that we should wear sunglasses in the sun. What’s the point of paying for these extras if they’re useless when the suns shining? Then we were told that since it was after 3 months there was nothing they could do. I’m so annoyed! I have shopped at Specsavers several times before and paid for the tinting and antinreflectives previously without any issues.
Specsavers have just lost two customers. I will never shop there again. I’ll be going to a real optician for my next pair of glasses. Original Comment Report...

After being told 2 days earlier by a man that my specs could not be repaired,were a discontinued range and were not under warranty, I returned to the shop , and agreed to buy a new pair . However, I was lucky enough to be attended to by another person, who went beyond the call of duty, discovered they were still within the years warranty, and went to look for the same frames in some drawers , and replaced the lens into them, costing me nothing. If she had just listened to the other members of staff, I would have had to pay for a brand new pair of reactolight bifocals, costing me a great deal of money again, and I can`t thank her enough for being so on the ball, and caring.
