So, bitterly cold day and the first ray of hope was a hot drink offered. Eye examination was methodical and longer than other places also eye scan offered at extra £25 and I had this done, the only place doing this in Cumbria I think. The reason in going to K France was they are one of a few opticians doing the Zeiss drive safe lens in the area which has improved my night driving by twenty-five percent at least. I was intending to have vary focal glasses plus a pair of sun glasses but the assistant steered me toward a frame which had magnetic sun glasses which fit over prescription glasses thereby saving me about £100, most unusual for an opticians who normally try to sell you more, not less and the results are perfect. Frame very light even with sun glasses attached, fit perfect and vision the best it's been in many a year. Ok, not the cheapest opticians on the high street but probably the very best and since you only get one pair of eye's it's good to give them the best care possible.
