After a doctors visit because of flashing light in eye, the doctor told me to go to my optician for an emergency appointment and ask for a letter for the eye specialist, I went to specsavers who told me no appointments available so try another optician, after walking through town looking for an optician, very frightened, thinking of a stroke or detached retina, I went to Higsons Albion st Hull who were very helpful, the optician there gave me a very thorough emergency exam and put my mind at rest, the optician was kindness itself, I cannot praise them enough. I have recommended them to my friends and will be going back for my usual eye tests. |

I visited Higson Optometrists in Savile Street as an emergency referral due to an overnight change in my vision. I only had my eyes tested a few days previously by another optometrist but Covid restrictions stopped them from completing a proper examination. Richard spent quite some time with me leaving no stone unturned. There was a suspicion of a retinal detachment and because of its urgency he organised an immediate referral to the 'eye hospital' for the same day. I cannot recommend them enough for their care and attention. |
