As someone who has had glaucoma for many years I appreciate a good optician. Having recently moved into the area I went to the local optician, Brown and White, for new varifocal glasses. The eyesight test was carried out efficiently giving me confidence with the result. The glasses were provided and fitted within the week costing over £600. One year and nine days later the frame snapped (for no obvious reason or stress) so I went back to see what could be done. “Nothing we can do about that” was the reply. My previous optician would have provided a better service.
